Sarah from Alaska
So I watched the announcement thing with McCain today and his VP pick (Sarah Palin). I must say, I don’t often get a sense of something big rolling out in regards to politicians but…but I must say…I was impressed. Her background and her postion on issues fit pretty well with our views (my Sarah and I). I’m VERY pleased with his pick and feel for the first time that the “messiah” might not win in November…I know wiser people than I say that the VP pick doesn’t make people vote for a President….but I think in this case it might just have a positive influence.
I also find it very funny that the first words out of the Obama camp where questioning her “experience” since she was just a “mayor of a small town”…this makes sense comming from them…Alaska isn’t an important state, she’s only been a mayor of a town, an ethics watchdog, and a governor….while Obama has…well…he organized some unemployed people in Chicago….he got elected to the Illionois State Senate…then elected to the federal senate….where he routinly votes “here” and not so much for or against much…but ignore that….he’s going to change things and experience doesn’t matter….ohh wait I mean it does, but not for her…cause she ummm eats baby seals.
I love politics!
